The '''Birthday 2022''' event is an [[:Category:Seasonal events|event]] that ran from August 14th until January 1st 2023, celebrating the 2-year anniversary of the release of RetroMMO.
It introduces a new [[Birthday Cave|birthday-themed section]] of [[Goblin Cave]] with new [[:Category:Monsters|monsters]], [[:Category:Items|items]] and many new [[:Category:NPCs|NPCs]]. It also introduces a Boss Rush section, which can be found down the stairs in the cave party room.

== Boss Rush ==

Boss Rush is a section of the goblin cave only seen in the Birthday 2022 event. To get to it, walk down the stairs in the goblin cave party entrance where [[Chuck]], [[Katie]], [[Luis]], [[Sruld]] and [[Bloom]] are. Then, pass by [[Marilla]] and [[Hoby]] and enter the portal. It is comprised of multiple areas which a player must get through by defeating a boss and passing through a portal to the next boss.

The bosses appear in this order: 2 [[Puny Pumpkin]]s => [[Mad Turkey]] => [[Slush]] + [[Snowman]] + [[Hoarfrost]] => [[Valti]] + 2 [[Pixi]]s => [[Big Gobble]] => [[Dimitri]] => [[Moon Squid]] + 4 [[Squid Arm]]s.

A shop appears once you defeat [[Valti]], allowing you to buy Health Potions, Mana Potions and other items. There is also a bank. After defeating all the bosses, you are sent back through the portal into the goblin cave party entrance.
